Do you love crafting engaging content, optimizing online shopping experiences, and planning exciting in-person experiences? Are you excited about a role that blends marketing, ecommerce, cultural programming, and retail coordination? 

If so, One World Bazaar is looking for a Marketing, Ecommerce & Operations Lead to help manage our online presence, execute fall cultural programming, and support ecommerce and retail operations. In this role, you'll play a key part in growing our digital audience, creating an unforgettable Bazaar season, and ensuring a seamless customer experience both online and in-store.


Primary Responsibilities

Marketing, Content Creation & Cultural Programming (50%)
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across social media, email, and digital platforms. 
  • Create engaging written, photo, and video content that reflects the Bazaar’s brand and story. 
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers, coordinate giveaways, partnerships, and promotions. 
  • Monitor analytics and report on engagement, traffic, and conversion trends. 
  • Assist with bilingual content creation (English & French) where applicable, ensuring cultural accuracy and effective communication. 
  • Plan and execute fall cultural programming, coordinating with performers, vendors, and community partners to enhance the Bazaar experience. 
  • Capture the atmosphere of the Bazaar through content creation for social media and marketing.

Ecommerce Management (30%)

 

  • Assist with Shopify operations, including product listings, SEO optimization, and online merchandising. 
  • Oversee order fulfillment, ensuring accurate packing and a smooth customer experience. 
  • Provide customer support for online inquiries and order issues. 
  • Track and organize inventory between the brick-and-mortar store and ecommerce platform to maximize sales opportunities. 
  • Ensure product descriptions, images, inventory and pricing are accurate.


Retail & Operations Support (20%)

 

  • Assist with inventory handling, pricing, and display preparation to ensure a seamless in-store experience. 
  • Support the retail team by restocking, merchandising, and providing exceptional customer service during the busy season. 
  • Help coordinate special events and vendor/performer collaborations to enhance the Bazaar experience. 
  • Participate in end-of-season inventory and teardown responsibilities.

Customer Service & Team Support

  • Provide outstanding customer service while overseeing a department during our seasonal fall sale. 
  • Contribute positively to a small, dynamic team committed to delivering a one-of-a-kind cultural experience
  • Comfortably use ladders to retrieve products for customers and ensure displays are appealing

✅ Bilingual (an Asset) – Strong written and verbal communication in both English & French is a major plus!

Schedule & Compensation

Full-Time, Seasonal – Increased hours during peak season (Sept–Dec), with flexibility in off-peak periods. Contract will run until Dec 15, with the potential for part-time work during winter, and renewal April 1.
