 Operations, Display & Ecommerce - Full-Time

📍 Location: Manotick | Full-Time, Hybrid Work

If so, One World Bazaar is looking for a driven Assistant Manager to oversee operations, display, inventory management, and ecommerce execution. You’ll play a key role in ensuring efficiency, optimizing processes, and maintaining a high standard of excellence across all areas.


Primary Responsibilities

Operations & Display Management (60%) 
  • Lead display management and execution, ensuring a visually engaging and customer-friendly environment that aligns with the Bazaar’s brand identity. 
  • Oversee inventory processes, from receiving and pricing to system integration (AirTable, Shopify). 
  • Manage supplier coordination, purchasing logistics, and inventory tracking. 
  • Oversee general business operations and property maintenance. 
  • Drive efficiency by implementing new tools and streamlining processes.

Ecommerce & Marketing Support (25%)

  

  • Manage the Shopify platform: product listings, inventory accuracy, and customer experience. 
  • Support marketing efforts—content creation, social media, email campaigns, and fall programming. 
  •  Analyze ecommerce performance metrics, providing insights and adjustments to improve conversions. 
  •  Assist in managing digital advertising budgets and audience targeting, ensuring the best return on investment for online marketing efforts. 
  •  Ensure alignment between in-store and online branding, storytelling, and product promotions.


Staff Supervision & Business Strategy (15%)

 

  • Hire, train, and supervise seasonal staff; maintain a positive, motivated work environment where staff feel empowered, engaged, and productive. 
  • Be the go-to leader for problem-solving, providing support and solutions to staff and ensuring a smooth customer experience. 
  • Collaborate closely with ownership on business strategy, process improvements, and long-term growth. 
  • Support customer service and fulfillment processes, especially during peak seasons

Customer Service & Team Support

  • Provide outstanding customer service while overseeing a department during our seasonal Fall Sale. 
  • Contribute positively to a small, dynamic team committed to delivering a one-of-a-kind and unique shopping experience
  • Comfortably use ladders to retrieve products for customers as requested by area leads

Schedule & Compensation

Full-Time – Seasonal schedule fluctuations (peak: July–Nov; lighter workload in off-season). 
Hybrid Work – ~40% remote, during off-peak months. 
Compensation – Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
